**Bob was not only the lowest of the quotes I received, he was by far the most knowledgeable. Where others quoted by the hour, quoting anywhere from 7 to 10 hours (quote included 2 people), Bob quoted by the job, item by item. He and his 2 workers were in and out in 3 hours. They were all pleasant, efficient and answered any questions I had. The clean up was thorough--they carried out the boxes to the garage for me too. **We recently bought our home from a relative who liked to do his own electrical work. With all the unsafe and outdated wiring, our homeowner's insurance company handed us a list of work we'd have to get done before they would insure us. It was a mess, to say the least. Mr. DePaolo came over about fifteen minutes after we first called his office. I'm sure he would have laughed at the crazy setups if he weren't so professional. He certainly could have overcharged us and done more work than was required, but he gave us a few different setups that would fulfill the insurance company's requirements at different price ranges, which I really appreciate. He recommended that we upgrade our electrical system because of the number of electrical applicances and computers we had (we were constantly blowing fuses before he did the work). He also had to install hard-wired smoke alarms in bedrooms and on each floor. Ultimately, he and his assistant were both at our home for more than 9 hours. He knew about some fire code violations that we didn't, and took care of them on the spot. He estimated about $3250 and came in at $3100, which is a high amount, but you have no idea the kind of mad scientist wiring that was going on in our house. We expected a higher bill. **Called for an estimate and the owner was out to review the next evening... within 2 days I had an estimate from him in my mailbox and when I called the receptionist to schedule she had an appt for me 3 days later. Owner and 1 crew showed up on time and took care to cover carpeted area where they walked and performed their work quietly, cleanly and efficiently. Even carried out empty boxes to my garage. **This was repeat business. That should tell you something right there. If you need an electrician then you must hire this company. An exhaust fan was supposed to be installed in the downstairs bathroom but because of the design of the house it could not be without much revision to the plan and the removal of an entire ceiling. Rob said he could do it but we would need to replace the ceiling and he did not want to do it that way. He could have easily done it and taken our money but they are truly concerned about doing the job correct. Absolutely wonderful company. ~Shawn H., Wheatfield, NY

**I lost power to my home due to storm damage from a falling tree. I was contacted immediately after calling for an estimate, and had the electrician at my house that day(It was New years Eve!). The electrician looked things over and gave me an exact estimate of what was required, what it would cost, and my options. The work was done on time as scheduled. The workers were very professional and courteous. The work was performed on time, and was expertly done. They also did a few extras: installed standard smoke detectors in each bedroom, and fixed a switch in my garage that was not working.
